Crèche

Our Crèche provides part-time care for children aged 2 to 3 years. Sessions run from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM, with attendance options of 2, 3, or 5 days per week, depending on availability and individual family needs.

We accommodate up to 12 children per day in our Crèche room, which is led by:
– Sarah – Lead Educator, and
– Kate and Jennifer – Childcare Educators.

Children receive a nutritious breakfast and dinner, both included in the daily fee.
Parents must apply for a CHICK number through the National Childcare Scheme (NCS) to receive a subsidy based on hourly entitlement:

– Fee: €20 per day,
– Open: 50 weeks per year, including mid-term breaks.

The Crèche follows the HighScope curriculum, encouraging children to become active participants in their own learning. We foster development through:
– Problem-solving techniques,
– Emphasis on choice and initiative.

This supportive, child-centered approach nurtures independence, creativity, and early cognitive growth.

Preschool

Our Preschool welcomes children aged 2 years 8 months to 6 years, with three daily session options:

– Morning Sessions: 8:45 AM – 11:45 AM (two groups),
– Afternoon Session: 12:45 PM – 3:45 PM.

We accommodate up to 51 children per day across all sessions.

The service is provided under the ECCE scheme, which offers free preschool education for 38 weeks each year. A limited number of extended hours until 1:15 PM are available, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Children attend for up to two years, with each child graduating at the end of their time with us.

Our experienced team includes:
– Niamh – Lead Educator in the Yellow Room, and
– Lucy – Lead Educator in the Blue Room

We implement the HighScope curriculum, which empowers children through the Plan-Do-Review process:
– Plan: Children decide what they want to do,
– Do: They actively engage in their chosen activities,
– Review: Together with teachers and peers, they reflect on what they’ve learned.

This approach encourages independence, confidence, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
